The EMX LRS-DB-100 Direct Burial Sensor uses the Earth's magnetic field to detect vehicles and signal the control panel. Designed specifically for use with EMX LRS-C1 Vehicle Detector Control Unit. When a ferrous object, like a car, disrupts the magnetic field being measured by the sensor, the device signals the control panel to open or close the gate or door. The sensor is suitable for above or below-grade installations and can be buried in either a vertical or horizontal orientation.
The compact sensor size allows for economical installation options. A single small saw cut is all that is need for below-grade installations, saving time and money. The sensor is designed to be sensitive, yet selective, reducing false alarms and only signaling when a vehicle is present. The sensor may be programmed to only activate when the vehicle triggering the sensor comes to a complete stop, further reducing false activations.
The EMX LRS-DB-100 Single Cut Direct Burial Magnetoresistive sensor was formerly known as the CarSense CS303-DB-100 that worked with the CarSense CS303-C-1 (now known as the LRS-C1 Control Unit).Features:
